<p>Eventually, I did wire rain lights as Phil describes, simply installed a s=
witch and ran a wire back to my OEM tail lights. The parking light circuit o=
n standard 1147 bulbs is all you want and need.</p>
<p>Please don't overthink this, guys. If you don't run in the rain, you cert=
ainly don't need a rain light.</p>
<p>You do not want a super bright lights that will distract your competitors=
, or as Tony G found out at Lime Rock, you will get black flagged because so=
mebody thinks your car is on fire! (I wish I was kidding...)</p>
