I laid a pad downstairs first to position the frame, but you need to have a h=
elper to set it on place.

How do you do it without scratching the paint?
Mine is the later style, held on with machine screws.=20
I've got the glass in the frame, and the tenons and stanchions attached. So n=
ow there are the pieces that go against the body, and the stanchions that wi=
ll cover them. I can imagine somehow holding them all together and sliding t=
he assembly downward, but I'm sure I'd scratch the paint. I tried sticking t=
hem on the body using a bit of plumber's putty and sliding the windshield as=
sembly backward, but it hit the wiper shafts.
What's the trick?
Jim
