If you are doing it to make you car safer, don't bother. Street roll bars mount into the sheet metal, not the frame, and will rip out if you go upside down, even if you use backing plates. Autopower

Cars that originally came with overdrives had a cutout with a specially shaped cover on the tunnel, to clear the angle drive. Good luck finding one of those covers, they are very rare. Irv Korey 74 T

Unless it is tied into the frame and properly braced,a roll bar in a TR6 is purely a decoration, which may actually make the car more dangerous to the driver in a rollover than no roll bar. Irv Korey
