Also the exhaust exits right over the right frame rail and is too close to bend around. The ones seen have a big chunk out of the frame and micky mouse patching to get the frame stiffness back. Ron /

Living in AZ, you need ALL the ventilation you can get without getting scalded by the sun! Judy has sun poisoning and has to stay covered up as much as possible or the effects are very traumatic. ron

The regulator is nothing more than a set of points on a bi-metal spring. The amount of open time fakes the gauges out to think there are only 8-8.5 volts. If they start sticking, the swing occurs. ro

Simple calcs make that a 76 MPH average and that includes fuel stops and food? You need to actually drive around 90 to95 to achieve an average like that(and don't stop to talk with the constabulary).

I would put another newer pressure gauge on and recheck. The oil pump wears at the gear/plate interface and this extra clearance allows bypass of the pressure. At least that is how my memory serves m
