The most common cause of a rebuilt speedo to fail early. The length of most of the new cables are to long and will hit the inside mechanisim on the speedo. The inner cable should only stick out 3/16

No if the speedo is damaged and usually jumping around it will not fix its self by adjusting the cable position.

There are a couple of options here. The 100/4 flywheel is about 45 lbs it can be replaced with a stock 6 cylinder flywheel they are about 28 lbs You can lighten your flywheel but there are some risks

You can not use the BJ8 style clutch on the BN1 transmisison, You must use the BN1 clutch cover in the BN1 transmission. So the early 6 cylinder flywheel will work with the BN1 clutch cover. David No
