This also brings up the need to re-visit our desire to open up the Muroc record books again to make it possible here in the states... my thoughts are that the Muroc event would be exceptionally well

Mike, it kinda depends on what's leaking (or not). Did you do this on a warm or cold engine? is it leaking out the exhaust, intake or breathers? If you are running a standard performance ring package

Everything sounds OK to me. theres no reason for the rings to be leaking after the failure you had unless you smashed a ring land with a valve. I think you would have leakage out the valve too if tha

Also the group that runs the "other" meet at Bonneville (USFRA) uses the SCTA rule book and any records set during there meet goes into the SCTA record book.
