I do not worry about "break in" on the dyno unless it has a flat tappet cam. Otherwise I run in the motor to stabilize the temps and shut down to lash valves, etc. Restart and destabilize again and p

Keith, that is fair logic but did you know A.J. Foyt set a two way average record @ the Firestone test track in Fort Stockton, Texas? I think it was a 3 liter quad 4 Olds. 267 mph average and got in

I also agree with this point of view, When you have big power the 5 mile drag race works best with enough weight to get you hooked up and the power will move it. We have about 35 gals. of water & LOT

I'm not a tire guy but if you call Carroll Shelby Enterprises you WILL fine Goodyear tires for Bonneville in sizes from 21" to 28" in about 2" increments. I would also suggest not using front runners
