- I believe black is the ground color throughout the car, so it would stand to reasonthat the battery ground would also be black, regardless of whether it is connected to the pos or neg post on the bat

- I've been using Mobil 1 15w50 in both my MG's for years and have not experienced any additional leaks. I still change oil every 3k miles or so, which may be unnecessary, but it gives me greater peace
