I have never seen but one turn of the wire for the tach induction loop. The wire does go through the "clamp" make a loop and pass through it once more before going on to the distributor or ignition

Yes, "fire polishing" does work on Acrylic but is next to impossiable to do with Polycarbonate. I have found that a small diameter flame is better than a larger diameter flame. You do have to be carf
