Yup. Thanks, Ulix. The two rubber "feet" that come from the underside of the leading edge of the hood, are adjustable. Just moving them down a couple turns got rid of 80% of my spurious noises. Thaan

I'm STILL driving the original spec'd 145's, from Michelin via Sears at under $30 a tire. Seem to handle ok. For the future, what would moving to 155's buy me? chuck
