- If you are talking about a Tiger, then it could be the master cylinder is leaking. The Tiger has a double firewall section where the master cylinder is mounted and the fluid can drip down in between

- I vote for gloss Black urathane paint, or light Blue. My original Tiger II colour was BRG ( i.e. left over WW2 army Olive Drab paint). Just don't paint tiger strips on it i.e orange "Tony the Tiger".
