- yes, they're the right way around. the old mounts had oval holes which were more forgiving and I suppose there is a little tension in the drivetrain as I had similar issues changing the rear springs

- actually, are you sure it should be in the rearward position? i put the one marked 'L' (by SS) in the left side and it matched the one i removed but it has the engine in the more forward position. i
