Are you certain that the manifold and head mounting surfaces are flat? Weâ??ve
seen this with manifolds that have warped a bit.
As Dave recommended earlier, the thicker high performance Remflex gaskets
available from Moss or the even thicker ones from Brian at British Frame and
Engine will accommodate some of this, but not all. The clamping force is low
due to the need for the exhaust manifold to slide on the gasket and hence the
limited bolt tightening torque recommended.
