Tom,
         I believe the GT6+ heads (9.2:1 compression) started at 3.30"
thick, and the MK3 (8.0:1) heads were about 3.40".

I've heard some of the MK3's came with an even thicker TR6 head, and domed
pistons.  I've not had one of these in front of me to confirm.
