You may or may not get this in a timely fashion. The appropriate dials
have been tweaked
so that autox.team.net is now on the new network. But it takes some
time for the new
information to get spread around the world, probably less than a day in
most cases.
But you may see some glitches in sending and receiving email, don't
worry, it will all
settle down soon.

It recalls all those horrible films tagged with "Wes Craven presents," which soon became a translation for "we gave Wes $100,000 for the use of his name, but he didn't do anything more than bend over so we could pucker up and kiss his ass." You know that when somebody has chosen bending over to actually doing the work, they've truly gone Hollywood. -- Mr. Cranky

Subject: [Spits] Copper Brake Lines Needed
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit
Errors-To: spitfires-bounces@autox.team.net

I'm looking for a source for a pair of brake lines for my Spit Six. I need
the brake lines that go between the Master Cylinder and the PDWA. One is 12
inches long, (3/16 inch diameter) with two 3/8 inch 24 pitch male fittings
(bubble flare ends). The other is about 14 in long with one 3/8 inch 24
pitch male fitting at one end, and a 7/16 inch 20 pitch male fitting at the
other. Any ideas?

It's been point out to me (repeatedly, by the way!) that I had a typo in my
response. The thread size is actually 3/8-24 NOT 3/3-24 :)

Last Sunday I noticed a definite howl coming from the rear end under
acceleration. Plan on checking the lube oil this weekend (maybe it's just
low?) :(. I know, I know....

I have a Locker diffy for some reason I can't remember and wonder if that
chunk is rebuildable as a road worthy piece, or should I look for a
remanufactured unit? ($1000 min) DIY rebuild? just drive under 20 around the
neighborhood??
