I have a 62/63 TR4 (straight axle) which by definition equals a =E2=80=9Cv=
ery firm ride=E2=80=9D. I am wondering about replacing the damper oil =
with a lighter weight. Referring to Barney Gaylord=E2=80=99s page =
https://mgaguru.com/mgtech/suspensn/fs110.htm the standard weight oil =
is about 20W or ISO 68 (Peter Caldwell World Wide Imports). Hydraulic =
jack oil ISO 32 is 10W and fully compatible. I will call World Wide =
tomorrow for clarification. Has anyone tried this?

I=E2=80=99ll also try to grease the leaf springs as that was last done =
when I restored the car 25 years ago. That=E2=80=99s a bit of a job and =
can open a can or worms since spreading the clamps around the leaves can =
sometimes break.
