IMHO just getting a set of main caps that are close to the engine alignment i=
n the current block is a needle in a haystack scenario. That will mean line b=
oring after machining the caps and then a line hone. I can=E2=80=99t imagine=
that the price for that would be anywhere as cheap as finding another donor=
engine.=20
I recently recycled two TR6 blocks that I got with cars due to the missing b=
earing caps.
You only get one chance at life, make it a TRIUMPH.
