If you have Dan Masters book on Triumph electrical maintenance check the
section on turn signals and hazard circuits.
Also the 72 circuit is different from any other. They all are very
dependent on good grounds . Especially on the rear TR6
bulbs that don't ground very well. They also depend on the correct wattage
of the bulbs especially the indicator bulb in the
speedometer. They all allow the flasher to work correctly and at the
correct speed. It is the load on the flasher that gets it to
work correctly. A missing ground at the rear will cause the other side to
light when not wanted. A burnt out indicator bulb
in the speedometer will also cause strange happenings.
The hazard switch on the 72 is different from any other.
Moss numbers:
68-71 635-600
