Being only in higher gears suggests the gearbox - if it was the diff that w=
ould surely be the same in all gears - potentially more in lower gears due =
to increased torque=2E My bet would be on layshaft bearing at the end of th=
e cluster closest to where the higher gears are=2E Can't see how it would s=
uddenly appear after shop visit though, unless they did some really stupid =
like draining the fluid and driving it before refilling - or wrong grade fl=
uid and damage done so the second change didn't fix it=2E
